Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply to quotes, orders and use of this website.

    Last updated: 19 July 2026

    1. Who we are

Pondliner.org of 56 Alderfield, Penwortham, Preston PR1 9HD, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@pondliner.org.

    2. These terms

These terms apply when you request a quote, place an order for pond liner materials or accessories, or otherwise use this website. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

    3. Quotes and orders

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order in writing (usually by email), not when you submit a quote request. We may decline an order — for example where a product is unavailable or a price was listed in error — in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full.

    4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you commit to an order. Payment is due in full before dispatch unless we agree otherwise in writing.

    5. Made-to-measure and box-welded liners

Made-to-measure and box-welded liners are manufactured to your dimensions. You are responsible for the accuracy of the measurements you supply; our pond liner calculator and team can help you check them before fabrication begins. Because these items are made to your specification, the usual 14-day cancellation right for distance sales does not apply once fabrication has started — see our Delivery & Returns policy for details. This does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty.

    6. Delivery

Delivery timescales, charges and what to check on arrival are set out in our Delivery & Returns policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

    7. Cancellation, returns and faulty goods

Your cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and your remedies for faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are explained in our Delivery & Returns policy. Our product guarantee is set out on the Guarantee page and applies in addition to, not instead of, your statutory rights.

    8. Advice and website content

Guides, comparisons and calculator results on this site are provided in good faith as general guidance for UK pond projects. Ground conditions, water chemistry and installation quality vary, so they are not a substitute for a site-specific assessment. If in doubt about a demanding application, contact us before ordering.

    9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order plus any reasonable directly-related costs.

    10. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales (or your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland). If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies to it.
